The talk also delves into the behind-the-scenes activities and operations that enable libraries to deliver seamless services to users. Also explored in this session is how libraries support inclusive learning by offering assistive technologies for specially-abled learners. As essential service units, libraries still contribute significantly to achieving sustainable development goals, making them indispensable in today's knowledge-driven society.
Dr. Manorama Tripathi holds a doctorate in Library and Information Science from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Presently she is associated with the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi as an Acting Librarian. Before JNU, she has been with the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi as a Documentation Officer; the University of Delhi, Delhi, and the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi as a faculty member.
Dr. Tripathi is a recipient of the Best Paper Award from the Raja Ram Mohun Library Foundation. She has published over 76 research papers in national and international scholarly journals and conference volumes. She has done several presentations and delivered talks at CEC-UGC, Refresher, and Orientation programmes of universities nationwide. She has visited many countries to participate in international conferences. Her research areas include researchers' information-seeking behaviour, innovative library services, and scientometrics.
