Min cost 10k in total, located in San Diego CA, small hump reduction, deviated septum, long nose, hanging collumella and over projection. 10k seemed to be average price for San Diego area and in fact was maybe 3 grand cheaper than some other options I found. The doctor was a facial specialist and specialist In rhinoplasty/ facelift. I found cheaper options but they were general plastic surgeons which I read is a big no no when it comes to nose jobs. My doctor also had their own operating room so that’s also why it probably cost 3k less than other doctors in the area

Also, it doesn’t hurt but it’s way more uncomfortable than you could ever imagine. If the doctor packs ur nose for more than a couples hours, get ready to lose your mind and regret everything.

I was abused as a child and my nose has been crooked all my life. CPS gives foster children insurance but its very limiting and I have to find very specific emt. My nose is very very crooked but the doctor did a surgery on me and he opted for a septoplasty instead of what I really needed which is a rhinoplasty. I hate my nose, I hate seeing myself in the mirror and even though he operated on the nose and made some space... it's not that different and its more crooked post surgery 2 months. I hate it but I can't really do nothing and I don't have the money to see about getting it fixed through a plastic surgeon. the internal structure is very crooked to the left and when I have to take proctored exams through my schools I can see the shape very evident through the camera and I hate it. I have low self esteem bc of it that I don't want to go outside and when I go to work I prefer to wash dishes in the back so no one can see it and I wouldn't have to deal with people noticing it.

I try to be grateful that yeah I got a full ride to college and maybe one day I can afford to pay for the surgery but the college degree doesn't guarantee anything... it's just getting my foot in the door. :C

I had a traumatic injury to my nose a week ago & it made my nose crooked. I went to see a ENT / plastic surgeon & he only manually realigned as much as he could but because it’s still crooked, the septum is also bent as well due to my previous injury. Right now, my nose shape on the bridge is like an S. I’m wondering, will my insurance pay for it since it’s considered a Functional Rhinoplasty? I only want to correct my nose to be straight again.

I got a consultation and it was discussed I would need to smooth small hump on my bridge, narrow the bridge, and fix the bulbous tip. Altogether it was priced at $14, 300. Does this sound reasonable? I also had a childhood injury to the nose with a baseball bat ... it wasn’t broke but my nose is slightly crooked which I assume was from that. If during surgery I needed septoplasty could they go back and bill insurance ? however i I currently have no breathing difficulties just slightly crooked.

Hey! I share my time between Miami, and Atlanta. I definitely need a septoplasty, and was given a recommended surgeon by my ENT which is certified in both Rhinoplasty and septoplasty. I spoke to their offices, and they charge about $11, 000+ for the rhinoplasty, regardless of insurance covering the septoplasty portion, and that the cost won’t go down by doing both in one surgery. Is this something that makes sense? And if you know any reputable MALE rhinoplasty surgeons in Miami or Atlanta can you please recommend it? I’m a college student, hoping to find the best price range but also finding a doctor that is great and worth spending a bit more if needed.

Hello Doctor, I had 3 nose jobs but my last one left me with uneven bump on my bridge with a white cartilage (maybe) that can be seen if I don’t wear foundation to hide my skin. It really bothers me because I have to use makeup to cover it every time I go out of a house. The foundation can only hide my skin but not my bump. I wonder if that bump can be removed.
Also, the doctor did not remove my previous implant as we discussed. I told him that I don’t like it because it’s too high at the beginning of my nose. I wanted him to remove it and give me a new shape with a lower start. One week later after he removed a splint from my nose, he told me that it’s not necessary to remove the old implant. Also, he mentioned that he not recommended to use that kind of implant. That’s make me wonder what is that implant? Why he can’t remove it? The implant is very stiff. It’s not move at all when I touch it.
The reason I get my third surgery because my second surgery left me with one side tip of my nose flat made my nostril smaller than another. He fixed my tip good but my nose start still high and my bridge is not smooth anymore. I thought this was my last surgery but now I need another surgery but I’m not sure if they can remove everything and start over again. I wonder if it is safe to remove it?

My last surgery left me with 2 small holds on a side of my nose next to my inner eye. I was so shocked to see that wound after he removed a splint. He escaped a room right away. He didn’t give me an explanation about that. It took me months to heal the hold and a year to make a scar lighter match to my skin tone. Do you have any recommendation for me? Thank you so much!
