FF7 Rebirth: How to Win Chocobo Races

In FF7 Rebirth, one of the multiple minigames you can check out at the Gold Saucer is Chocobo Racing. There are 22 Chocobo races in total: the first 10 are available in Chapter 8 with the remaining 12 available in Chapter 12. Clearing them all will reward you with useful accessories or materials to upgrade other accessories. So here are 7 tips for leaving the competition in your Chocodust!

In original ff7 there was a speed boost at the start of the Choco races. And there is on this on Hit ( x) on the count down when it hits two. 👍 I haven’t seen this tip any where.

Piko is Gi set is all you need to win all the races. Piko has the only skill that makes a difference all other chocobos have skills to hurt the other riders but they are useless when you're incredibly behind and can't hit them with the skills.

Some time when i start the race i miss press something that give me the headstart with 2 dashes. Does anyone know what is it?

Why there had to be 12 is infuriating as if there was an annoying amount of mini games. 7 would have been fine for races

Most of the track give player time to get used to and easy to get rank 1 at 1st attemp, however that not applied to the race to get dark matter and agains the middle manager XD, it took some tries but not hard.

The race you have to do in the story at the Gold Saucer isn't even hard to win. I think they made the AI racers slower so it's easy to stay well ahead of the pack regardless of your gear choices.

Soo... Why are my birds not drifting? U am pressing R2 and the direction but He only jumps a bit and stops then. Its So annoying...

The game is rigged like every other stupid racing game, doesn’t matter if you have the highest possible top speed, they will still pass you

Here’s the best tip, try to get ahead of the guy in 1st place, if you do that, you usually get first and win.
