Finland used to be "closed" on Sundays too, I still have trouble remembering, that the stores etc are open.. only store which isn't open on Sundays is Alko (national liquor store)

That's pretty much how it is in Utah, USA. A lot of the groceries stores are open tho, just everything else is closed.

It feels so creepy! Same when I was visiting Finland. I was warned that the stores would be closed but I expected lots of walkers and people in the park but I didn’t see anyone as I walked around. Insert music from Jaws here* 🎶

I was there recently, bars and restaurants are open on Sundays and even SOME supermarkets.

Same thing in Greece, stores are closed on Sundays except for 24/7 stores and cafes, bars. People would still be out of course, cafe bars are open after all and parks never close
