Weirdest part of this is that the guy is Australian, but you can do this in Australia too.

There’s few stores that do this in the US as well. It’s pretty nice being able to do that with beer. I don’t want 4 beers to take up space when I only want 2

In US grocery stores we have single bottles, 1 Gallon jugs and 12-48 packs of 16oz bottles. In big stores like Walmart or target you can get everything from above but also 5 gallon jugs for office style coolers and can even take your own containers to refill.

This guy, with his hollywood accent, is a riot. Must have the Germs in stitches!

It's common in most countries i believe, but it grinds my gear when people do it when the single bottles STANDS RIGHT NEXT TO IT,

The sell individual bottles too with the other singular drink

At a mark up cuz bulk is always cheaper

At my local store you can just yank out an energy drink or soda from the cases and theyll scan and you can buy them

You can buy singles here in Canada but they are packaged separately from the bulk packages.

I love skits that are just exact copies of other people's skits.

It depends on the store not the country however many stores are similar dependent on location

No not all bottles are sold separately only if there is a second prise on the tag for single bottles. At gas stations most of time for example you can’t open a six pack and just take one bottle

It just depends on if theyre "marked for individual sale" and if the business registered them individually in their system.

Most of the time, individual versions are separate ans refrigerated while the packs are sold as one unit in a different isle. I think this is just due to US stores being so much bigger (so they have room)

Marked for indivual sale means they need to have ingredients/health information/expiration dates/etc on each bottle - this adds minimal cost, but some producers do not mark bottles for individual sale.

And your Dutch friend would also do it. In America they buy bulk since there are no shops in their direct area. So people drive to a shop and load their shopping for weeks?
I have two supermarkets in a five minutes walking distance. Every, most Dutch quarters have at least one supermarket. Whenever I need something, I walk to the shops around my corner. I can do this in the morning and/or during lunchtime and/or in the evening.
Why do I or any other Dutchman have to buy a huge sixpack if I need one or two only? If I finish one bottle I buy another.

When I worked at a gas station I felt bad but anyone who was from over yonder all over I had to politely tell them they couldn't take apart water, soda, or beer bottles. They couldn't understand why they couldn't just get one but when I scanned them I showed them the UPC is marked for a set so even if they got one it would ring up as the case
