As a CS student struggling with imposter syndrome, watching an accomplished pro debugging with print statements and having a meltdown trying to code something simple really helps out.

True pain is when you understand the more complicated stuff but you can't seem to get the simplest parts of the code to do what you want.

I love to see other people coding. It helps me with my impostor syndrome lol :)

We need more videos like this. It just shows that even pros who's been in the industry for some time still makes mistakes and that's okay somehow helps my pain in making errors in coding. Thanks Mayuko.

Such a wonderful depiction of how fun can be to see your code come to life! Super wholesome vibes all round. Makes me think that this LED box would probably be an amazing tool to use when introducing people to programming!

My highschool said that coding was too difficult and none of my year could possibly learn it; so they didnt offer the software design and development course. 15 years later and ive made a career out of it :) and loving it.

Keep up the good work, your videos are soo relatable and entertaining!

Can confirm, as someone who codes for a living now, this is an accurate depiction of the experience

I would like to see "more videos like this, code along with me, code with me, watch Mayuko make so many silly mistakes in Python videos."

I just watched your interview with Sarah! A tech recruiter reached out and I'm writing a resume to apply to amazon. Your videos about resume/recruiting just saved me A LOT of time/effort, not only for me, but (hopefully) for the recruiters too!

Nothing feels more satisfying than your project coming to life when you're done coding.

Wish my computer teacher was like Mayuko back then. My teacher was way too strict and stereotypical! He can go like "come on don't be so girly" and such when me and the other boys make mistake. Mayuko, you make it clear that coding 'can' be fun. Even though it can be hard.

Seriously thanks for this. Watching an objectively successful developer struggle with a language they aren’t familiar with makes me feel much better. Being good at one thing doesn’t make you an instant expert at a related thing, and it’s very helpful to see people much further along in their careers and successful than me struggling through the same stuff I do.

I’m getting pretty confident with C#, but literally every time I touch Python I just end up screaming “what are you even?!?!?!” because typing seems to be super loosey-goosey or something. I’ve also lost more time than I’m willing to admit to the “elif” thing…

Thank you for sharing - it's always really calming to watch other people code and realize that I'm not the only one struggling with what seems like it should be simple.

Cool video! Nice to see you coding again and looked like you had fun (minus the obviously frustrating parts of coding)!

I loved watching you code, I normally watch videos on 2x speed but this one I stopped and just enjoyed on normal speed. I actually love it, it makes me so happy to be in tech idk why it's just so relaxing and really takes the stress away from coding ♥️

Awesome as always! A small tip tho.

You dont need to select a line and then cut it to remove it. Just hover over the line and press ctl+x. It will cut it.
