plenty of fish in the Maribyrnong river

I fished the Maribyrnong river on a cold Spring morning after heavy rains. There was a lot of rubbish floating in the water but this didn't stop the fish biting. There were plenty of mullet. They weren't big fish but they were still fun to catch.

Nice. Sometimes you can just wind the reel once to hook it when you get a bite, you might miss it but the bait will still be in front of the fish and it will probably have another crack
