How does the reader of the card know which tees you have played off? I understand if there is a competition there will be defined tee boxes, but if you are submitting a card in order to obtain your handicap how do they know if you played off the white, yellow or red tees?

If you enter a club comp and let say you walk off after 9 holes, so it’s a no return, will effect my handicap ? How does it work it out ? Or am I disqualified? Many thanks

Now there are apps where can score on your phone, and no need to use traditional paper card.
