Unprocessed trauma can then affect the way people form relationships with their own children. So important.

I'd like to see Waymond in an episode of "Analyzing good".

The most important lesson I learned from this film is that it's never too late for anyone to reach their full potential. And Mr. Eye managed to dissect that lesson into a very concise exposition, as usual.

this movie made me sob a number of times because of how close to home a lot of the subjects it explores hit, so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that i teared up a few times watching this video. you managed to present the lessons this movie tries to teach in such a clear, heartfelt way that it honestly makes me confident enough to ask my family watch the movie finally, knowing that i can show them this video after the fact if they don’t quite get what i’m trying to tell them.

When I heard you talk about generational trauma, I wished I could at least give you a hug.

Genuinely impressed by the poignancy of the lessons in this video. The movie did a good job showing them as well but hearing you describe the lessons actually left me with a sense of hope. Awesome video as always.

Your point about whether or not Jobu is evil is such a powerful one. We tend to "other" individuals in society who commit truly evil acts, because we're too afraid to acknowledge that everyone holds that dark potential. It is - for better or worse - innately human, and denial only further blindsides you to your own Shadow, where all dark things live in all people.

Life itself is traumatic for most people, I sometimes think the best we can do is try to limit how much we spread it.

Everything Everywhere All At Once in its most extraordinary ways certainly had a lot to say about the personal impacts that can spawn villains. Thank you for another of your most appreciable Analyzing Evil videos.

The movie itself already made me emotional, but reliving it through this video brought me to tears once again. Thank you for the brilliant coverage of this movie, Mr. Vile Eye. Happy Cinco de Mayo.

It's not always people who are evil. Sometimes cultural, social, familial, or political systems are evil, in that they reinforce the harming of the innocent through imposed and arbitrary norms of behavior regardless of whether or not those norms are truly healthy.

He’s not exactly evil, but a bojack horseman episode would be incredible

Do you think evil ever gets tired of being evil

This movie left me with a burst of hope I'll never forget. It's a powerful film, so much so that even vile eye's commentary on it brings back the intense feelings I experienced. But that's also because vile eye is so skilled at evocative commentary. Thanks for covering this fantastic movie!

I'm genuinely surprised you haven't covered them yet, but an Analyzing Evil on Billy Loomis and Stu Macher would be awesome.

This is my favorite movie of all time and this is a beautiful depiction of depression and overcoming to fine happiness in knowing if nothing matters, then everything matters ❤

You should really cover Begbie from Trainspotting. He is one of the best portrayals of a psychopath in cinema and literature

It's funny, you'll never understand how much this video means to me. How much it helped me feel better about my situation. How accurate it is that art imitates life, not the other way around.
