Most amazing stripper I've ever used: No awful smell; Doesn't burn skin if accidently touched; And does a really great job! 10 minutes was all the time needed to soften varnish for removal. Easy water clean up. Love it.

This stuff is amazing. We are rehabbing our 50 year old home. Someone in the past decided it would be a good idea to spray paint the porcelain bathtub. It looked great for about a month after we moved in and paint started chipping off. We scraped off what we could. We then tried sanding it off with a palm sander, what a dusty mess. We knew we had to get all the spray paint off before having the tub refinished.

Today we stumbled upon this product at Home Depot. In 3 hours we have our bathtub looking new. After using the EZ Strip, we can’t see why they ever spray painted it in the first place. We bought both the spray and the small jug. Both worked better than we could ever expect.

This is the third home we have rehabbed so we are used to buying products that perform so-so or not at all. EZ Strip works. Thanks again for an amazing product

I have a painted deck with oil
Based paint to strip. Can one wash it off with a power washer (faster) instead of using a paint stripper?

How long do I wait after applying to stain my furniture?

My review on Home Depot EZ STRIP FIRST TIME AMAZING
I bought the 3.78 L jug of EZ StripPaint and Varnish Remover. I absolutely hate strippers with dangerous fumes, required eye and hand protection. But EZ Strip is Canadian genius. I am highly sensitive and loved this product. It says skin safe, but I never use chemicals without gloves. A gentle scent, almost unnoticeable. I researched EZ Strip Youtubes and the EZ Strip Website videos to understand the sequence and technique and timing, but also the huge variety of uses. Shake very very well to be sure the gel is mixed. Keep in your basement but not a garage or outside storage (Do not let it freeze) My first job was a 12 x 12 foot wood panel outside wall. Not knowing what to expect, I taped off patio in plastic protector sheet. I used an extender poll with a thick roller. I used a metal paint tray. Shook well each time I poured, and also recapped to keep the bottle safe from evaporation. Began with about 2 cups, it poured like a gel, thick enough that it would not run down the wall. I rolled a 5 foot wide, 12 foot high section as a test. Timed it for an hour while reading a book there with coffee.Put on dish gloves. I used a Dollarama 6 inch wide stainless steel putty knife, starting at the bottom of each piece of wood and sliding up. I was stunned. Amazing...it simply slid off onto the top of the wide blade and I wiped into a plastic grocery bag. If some areas would not release, I simply painted another layer of EZ Strip just on those pieces. I used a kitchen no scratch blue rectangular scrubbie just with water. Scrubbed each panel and wiped down with fresh water and a J-cloth. The scrubbie removes clean, and clean water final wash down neutralizes the EZ Strip. Fantastic product. As a hobby, I design jewellery and cut and polish and facet stones. I have a special faceting machine called a Raytech Shaw. I painted it with high gloss black...but not thinking...I also painted a round disk that should never have been painted. Even a millimeter of paint can destroy the angle of facets of a stone like aquamarine. It is stainless steel. EZ Strip removed it so simply, in about 20 minutes, with just a blue scratchless scrubbie and water. Now doing my basement window frames. So impressed, and PROUDLY CANADIAN. Available in Home Depot Canada.

I thought that someone will be doing actual applying and scrapping of actual paint... not pictures of the same instructions found on the package.. why is the first step to go watch this if it is exactly the same as in the box, just that the image moves...

I have a sticky mess and followed i structions on container and hand is dry and burning even after washing. Plus videos dont show plastic wrap either. It DOES smell bad and im not sure its supposed to be a bunch of jelly globs....Sigh....expired product?

So far, it simply doesn't work as advertised. I have a 30+ year old dining table that stains badly with water: but the stripper doesn't change anything, even in the stained parts!! It's nothing but junk....

Terrible video, no details, no tips, no tricks. Just put it on, wait, remove. Wait how long??? Scrape off, should it all come off or multiple applications? Do I need protective gloves or eye wear? Do I need a well ventilated area? outdoors? Wash with water after? Why? Water is BAD for wood. The title says "How it works" I am looking for a video on "How to use"

EZ Strip anyone knows to "shake before use" and im sure the product would blend properly if it were shaken...which it does not seem to do. The only thing i see on the bottle is "no burning....use gloves for PROLONGED use", which i simply applied with a brush, covered and washed my hands. Just kept burning where it was on my skin. I have managed to get it to
