Even though I’m team travel, I’m always so interested in 5x’ing all the things. Or to at least have that option. I also like the max cash rewards (cash plus clones). I would love to run a cash back set up one day!!

As always fantastic content, I really like the board and it's a good thing to keep in mind just in case you pivot from travel to cash back.

That’s a great rundown for cash back! The best I’ve seen. Great job! 👏🏻

The KING of cashback himself!!! 👑I honestly really enjoyed this video. This is one of the things that makes the credit card game so fun to me. There are so many different setups that can be created to get you a ton of value, but this is definitely one (if not the best) cash-back setups you could have. Thanks for this one RJ!

The Bilt card could be your travel card if you rent, transferable points and no annual fee. Paying your rent could get you a free night or two in a Hyatt every year.

The Cash+ is extrapowerful if your utility companies allow you to "pay in advance". My electric company allows me to add up to $1, 000 at a time to my account via credit card for a flat $2.75 fee. I get a year's worth of electric bills (I live alone in a 1/1 condo, so not much need for electricity, and all other utilities are bundled into my HOA fee, so no earning power there) in one pass, freeing up three quarters a year to use this card on another category.

The BCP at least for me is super easy to offset the annual fee with. I already subscribe to Disney+ bundle and that card has an $84 credit for the Disney bundle. So that makes the effective annual fee $11. That means if you spend over $183 in the 6% categories you are in the green for that card for the year. I like to cook for my family so that is surpassed quite easily. It’s really an awesome card! In 6-12 months I am going to think about applying for the Citi CC and the Chase FF. I have the Discover IT and I like the rotating 5% :)

Hey RJ I love the 5x videos!, I feel like you could have included the Amex Blue Cash Every Day that would have been a good second option to Gas Grocery & Shopping

US Bank Cash+

Now maybe an option for five percent on grocers would be the *Comenity* AAA Daily Advantage card. And the duel setup of the Comenity AAA Travel Advantage card would be good for five percent on gas and electric charging stations.
On a catch all in year one the Discover Miles plus a $100 sign up bonus though referral link.
Good options overall, good sir, RJ.

I’m somewhere in the middle though I lean slightly more towards team cash back, but really I just want to get the highest return on my spend so this is a really helpful video.

Another interesting route is using cash back debit cards. The Juno debit card offers 5% cash back at 10 merchants of your choice from their list. The Albert debit card also has cash back on offers that you have to activate similar to the Cashapp Debit card. I also got an email saying that I believe was targeted from Gemini. They are offering 10% back in a crypto of your choice up to $200 a month in spend on gas at the pump or EV. This is a limited time offer for new and existing cardholders, and you must be approved on or prior to January 15, 2023.

Though my setup is mostly travel points, appreciate maximizing cash back, specially if it’s achievable without annual fees.
Thank you again, awesome video.

People underestimate what I call the power 5 Citi set up. 3x Custom cash. (Grocery, Gas, Food) 5.55%back. The Citi Rewards +. (purchases under $2) Adds 10% to redemptions of all citi cards. Citi Double cash. 2.22% back. All with no AF. Of course others to round out other categories. But no one talks about having multiple Custom Cashes.

I would love to see a 5x Travel Edition. I assume that’s more work but you could limit it only to issuers that have travel partners and exclude co-branded cards to come up with an ideal setup.

do any of these cards actually include walmart and target?

RJ please do same for maximizing travel rewards across spend categories
