Jeff, us DIY Joe’s (that don’t hire pro’s) thank you for all these great tips and tricks to help keep more money in our pockets. The previous comments posted by a pro asking you to keep trade secrets hidden might be missing the point. Folks that hire pros to do jobs usually don’t go checking YouTube for tips and tricks. The DIY’ers like me do and we thank you for helping us. God bless from Toronto. Cheers

The "Bobby Flay" of mud work. My hats off. I'm a residential electrician, doing old work gets you acquainted with mud and sheetrock pretty quick. Thanks for the solid tips man.

whenever I get a small hole in drywall from a screw or whatever I was using spackle and trying to sand it after and it NEVER comes out perfectly smooth. My contractor told me to use joint compound instead of spackle, but this stuff looks great. Thanks so much for making this!

Man, I see a lot of people talking crap on reviews and reddit and such on work Jeff has done for them, but I call bullshit. That's jealous people or competitors or outright haters and youtube competitors are even a possibility. I love this guy. He teaches me so much, and he clearly is skilled. You can't make all these videos with great results and teach others like myself to achieve DIY results like I never could before without being skilled. You're awesome Jeff, and I am grateful for all that you teach us.

I painted and patched my entire house by using your tips from painting like a pro video where you also explained this technique briefly. It worked like a charm! Everyone, including my husband, was impressed by my patch work and paint job 😬
Thank you 🙏🏻

Getting ready to fix a bunch of peeling bullnose corners. This will help eliminate a lot of time waiting for mud to dry. Thanks.

Love to see others wet sanding. I've been using this method for over 30 years and I love seeing it catching on more.

All around efficient tactic! I am very curious about your statement that it doesn’t need to be primed. Is there something special about the 45 min set that eliminates the need to prime? I always end up priming my patches to avoid the flat appearance of painted mud.

Another Thorman masterpiece. Sharing secrets isn’t easy, but it certainly benefits us DIYers. Watching Jeff is like sitting at the feet of a great artist who opens up his or her craft in understandable, practical ways. The Ottawa Rembrandt in action. Thanks so much, once again.

Love these! Thanks for educating the masses. It's watching videos like these that give this DIYer the confidence to tackle some small projects without always having to feel like the only option is to get my contractor to do it.

I got to this video from your drywall nail pop video. This is absolutely amazing!! I was dreading my small master bathroom I need to touch up (nail pop out, bad tape job at the corners some cracks etc) because I never used traditional mud etc. I am doing this next weekend! Thank you so much for all of your vids!

The thing to remember about hot mud make sure its smooth and not put on to heavy, It hardens harder than normal mud and can be a pain to sand.
