To be honest with everyone who is watching this is that I really wouldn't mind this being canon, for one reason is that all of the scp who were locked up in prison for so long can finally have freedom, and even humanity might be ending soon. But I would rather have people surviving in the apocalypse like the Walking Dead as example, and eventually the scp 2000 clones would be coming in the next future and see if they can restart humanity with the anomalies equally. Now that I would keep that as canon to the franchise if you ask me.

Awh the first one was cool but i wish they had added scp-999 into his defeat like even if it was something as simple as distracting the king or maybe giving sll our heros with the 7 spears that moment when all hopes lost to give it one last shot, , or something else entirely wouldve been cool. Just seems almost the most well known and anticipated lore connecting 999 with scarlett king wouldve been cool.
