This is one of those SCPs that no matter how many videos I watch, I still don't fully understand what he or _it_ is.

The Scarlet King, according to Dust and Blood, lives in an unending state of anguish and pain. He is filled with hatred. If he were to come into contact with SCP-999 this evil would dissipate and he would be a threat no longer. The "son of the third brute" is fuelled by his pain and hatred and an overwhelming sense of suicidal depression, wishing to no longer exist. If 999 were to cure his depression, he might even become benevolent.
