I work at a Tier 1 bank and totally see what Warren was saying. We have an army of smart people, many of them have Ph.D, who model risk with statistical probability. They don’t understand the underlying product that they are computing risk for (FX, Credit, Rates etc). It’s crazy and makes no sense.

You can never predict crazy momentum moves either way but I guarantee you that after that stock shot to $1000 that it crashed.
