If you want an even more white bread/yeasty flavour. Just add your yeast to 1-2 tablespoon of HOT WATER. Wait 5 minutes then add to your mix. The Yeast wakes up more that way giving it more flavour.

Just made some and it's great. I doubled up on the xanthan gum and took it out while the top was still a little soft but no longer sticky. It was perfect, dense, not crumbly and most of all didnt taste eggy!

Hey Joe! I can't wait to try the recipe! Just in case anyone was wondering why replacing the protein powder won't work, it's because the protein powder is what gives the bread it's chew. Also, the yeast is going to give it that familiar "bready" taste.

One thing I didn't mention is that microwave times will vary....my microwave is 1100Watts and around 2.30-3min. is always the perfect amount of time :) So you may have to cook it longer if yours is not as powerful 🙂

This is really good! I was amazed at how much it rose, given that there was no egg. (The yeast gives flavor, but with no gluten to react with, it doesn't add to the rise.) A great flavor, very much like a dense white wheat bread. A keeper of a recipe! Thanks, Joe Duff!

I always come back to this recipe but this time I wanted a batch with a sour dough effect and added a half a capful of apple cider vinegar. It came out great 🙂😁

I baked it and it came out like ciabatta BEAUTIFUL..not even lyin'. The ONLY thing I did wrong was use vanilla whey, and it had that sicky-sweet taste you get with a protein shake. I will repeat with UNFLAVORED....whewww it's goood!!

I can't tell you how excited I am to try this recipe! I love bread and giving it up has been the only hard part of the keto lifestyle for me. I've tried so many 90 second mug breads and some other keto "bread" recipes that were made with expensive ingredients that had to be ordered online as none of the stores in my area carried them. All that time and money and they didn't even come close to being a good substitute for the real thing. I'm hoping this is the recipe that saves me from all those chaffles! Thanks Joe!

I like this bread for different reasons, when its placed in the refrigerator and heated the next day, it legit tastes like a biscuit! Amazing!

i add sesame seeds flour by mistake instead of almond flour and it turns out great. next time I will add almond flour. Thanks 😘😘

Made today and I don't have a scale so eyeballed lots of things and it turned out pretty good. Pretty Good bc I made it in one of those plastic sandwich molds...It toasted nicely and looked like white bread. It was dense but it is what it is...I toasted and put butter and fresh blueberry preserves on top of a slice. The rest I toasted for bread crumbs. Someone needs to invent a way to slice this bread...I'm always cutting it too thick or thin....ugh! This is similar to the 90 sec bread recipe so i think I am going to mix the two...thank you for this video.
