Here is a 10,000km review of my Honda Motorcycles CB500X (2020). In this review I am focusing on the ownership and riding of this motorcycle over the longer-term. I am more than happy to provide answers or my opinion for anyone curious about the bike. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

Thanks for the review. Nice, sensible, real-world information. I am in the UK and only use mine for the road (pavement, over the pond). I use the Bridgestone `Battlax T32` tyres and they transformed the handling from the stock tyres. Mine is a 2017 facelift model.

great review, I have been wanting a 500X for some time and I pick my 2023 model up in about two weeks for my first real road trip! (about 1600km from dealer in Mount Pearl, NL to where I live in Labrador). Thanks for the real world review, I have owned a 500R for about 9 years now and have great confidence in Honda and the 500 engine but hearing your experience and watching a couple of your videos really helps me to know the 500X is going to be a great investment!

Nice one, glad the wee screen extender did the job. I see a lot of folk selling their bikes due to buffeting issues which can be solved with a £30 addon, if you really want to transform the bikes handling, stick a set of michelin road 5 tyres on, here in the wet west of scotland they are a godsend. !!!

I had the same experience with fuel milage on my 2018 model. On the highway with side cases fully loaded and the milage really suffered. Take the cases off and stick to 80km/h and I could get close to 500km on a single tank.

Once again great video Ken.. Funny you mention your water pump was leaking. I have a 2021 CB500X with 6, 000kms on it. I recently did a 1, 200km trip and parked my bike for a week or so. When I went to ride it again I noticed that there was a couple of drops of oil under the bike and the oil appeared to be coming from the lower left side of the engine. Now that I've seen this video I think I may have the same issue??

ive heard moans about foot pegs causing back aches and hip pain and buffeting from the screen, i wonder if they are over stated

Fit a 16T front sprocket this will transform the bike to an even better one
