The pix show gas in the stomach. The gas is NOT in the stomach. This is not the kind of gas you get from eating broccoli. It is in the open spaces of the abdomen where the lap surgical tools needed space to operate on whatever organ(s). UNFORTUNATELY and INEXPLICABLY, surgeons are too lazy or clueless to press down on the abdomen, expelling most of the gas, before sealing up the incision. Instead they let the patients suffer for days waiting for the CO2 to make its way into the bloodstream, then the bowels.
