Merrell have always given me the worst knee pain. I bought the shoes years ago and thought it was a one off..then silly me I bought the boots and same thing.

I've worn Merrell boots for years but have recently been very disappointed. I've tried 3 different versions of "waterproof" boots in short order (Merrell has generously replaced 2) and none have been waterproof in any sense of the word. This includes Gortex and non-gortex versions. I'm giving up on the Merrell brand.
