Worst Traits of the 16 Personality Types

Everyone loves to hear about their best qualities and let the bad stuff get swept under the rug. However, one of the gifts of cognitive theory and the MBTI is the insight it offers about our deficiencies and short comings.

Being mindful and aware of our weaknesses makes it easier to hone in on and develop them. Here is a list of the worst traits of each of the Myers-Briggs types.

I thought this was spot on for most of the types. I question the ENFJ one and INFP seems way off. It might be half true, but we would keep it to ourselves and detach while watching others grapple for the power spot.

As an INTP, I woudn't put "represses and ignores feeling" and " Tendency to be suspicious and distrusting of others" as bad traits. It really depends of the context. Unless the question is "how to make people *feel* good/better ?" (or something similar), then feelings have no place in the matter (most of the time), but since most people seems to give them so much importance when making a decision, we tend to distrust their judgement. That being said, i would put narcissistic and egocentric to the list though

I really relate to the ISFJ one. If I didn't have my extremely extroverted family members expecting me to do things, I probably would never have tried anything new or been in any plays or sports.

Bad traits:1. Impulsive;2. Stubborn;3. Self centered like i focus too much on my own Emotions that i tend to forgive about others;5. Reserved;6. Shy;7. Secretive(Even with friends)8.Hard to open up and get Close to;9. Tend to bottle up Emotions and then suddenly explode;10. Can’t Take criticism at all worst flaw.;11. Materialistic, snobbish and vain.
