I think Dove would’ve been better visually for the movie but Ariana just got the part because of her name. Ariana looks nothing like Glinda and it just looks like they tried to slap blonde hair on her and a pink dress but it doesn’t look right. Dove (especially when blonde) looks like Glinda and she can also sing so she would’ve been a better fit but Ariana is more famous so that’s the name of the game.
