I like them but shocked to have seen an article saying how they are the best couple in series. Which I just can't see not over Trevor and Sypha. I mean for one Trevor and Sypha get so much more development. Basically Alucard and Greta only progress to the point of where Sypha and Trevor were halfway through season 2. Which means Trevor and Sypha get like a full 2 and half more seasons of development. We actually get to see what Sypha and Trevor are like as a couple who have been together for a decent period of time. They to me are basically a married couple by the time season 4 starts. Where with Greta and Alucard they are basically just at the point of two people who had a few get together's and enjoy each others company and want to try dating. Like we don't see how they deal with a rough patch or things not going well. Unlike with Trevor and Sypha who we see have to deal with something bad at the end of season 3. And is continue into the start of season 4. We see how much them being together has changed them such as Sypha swearing in the first episode of season 4 and blaming it on Trevor. Yet we see that such arguments and fights aren't something they dwell on instead they are just fine afterwards much like a married couple. Where Greta and Alucard haven't even gotten to the point of thinking about something as major as Alucard being a immortal vampire who will have to watch her grow old and die. Much like my favorite couple of all time from Holo and Lawrence from Spice and Wolf and how Holo will have to do the same with Lawrence.

Plus I just find Greta and Alucard relationship to be pretty similar to Trevor and Sypha. I mean I get that they are trying to mirror the relationship of his father Dracula and Lisa. But it still doesn't change the fact that it's also very very similar to Trevor and Sypha. In that when Trevor and Sypha meet Trevor is a loner drunk who doesn't want to help anyone and just mind his own business. And that him actually deciding to help someone is what leads him to finding Sypha. And that over the course of them getting to know each other Sypha begins to get Trevor to change open up and actually start helping people and become the best version of himself. And it's the same thing with Alucard. Who before meeting Greta he's a loner now who cares nothing about helping people and thinks he's fine being alone. But then he decides to finally help someone when he gets the message which leads him to finding Greta. Who gets him to become the best version of himself. So like I said I like them together but I can't say they are a better couple when they to me are just Sypha and Trevor but with 2 and half less seasons of time together and development.

I really like how clever they included other races in 16th century Romenia. The vampire lords come from all over and must have brought tons of "food" with them, same with how their deaths affected global politics

Anyone feel the "Low Key Swagger" line was a bit too 'forced'?

This is a nit-pick but I don't know, it feels out of place with the rest of the dialogue in the show.
