HOW TO QUICK SLOT THE HORSE:
Open up the menu > on the right side you see your pouch > go to an empty slot > in the bottom right of the screen you see the key to "switch" > press that key > select the whistle.

Ok so to equip horse to quick slot you go to the open pouch slot and press triangle. Then to summon torrent you hold triangle and press up on the d pad

Actually I have been frustrated with trying to figure out why I couldn't get my horse Or level up. I have never played Demon Souls before but I have a friend that has And He is telling me that he beat One Demon Lord And I Can't even Figure Out How To Level UP!!?
