Hey man I know this isn't what this video is about, but congrats on the new gig! Just the thought of you and Gavin together in a rhythm section completely blows my mind! Can't wait to see and hear it!

So good man. One day I'll get this good. Even though these videos make me feel like I'll never get to that point, I'm not gonna give up. 6 months in so far and loving it.

Could you do a video on here or Patreon of how you mix your bass?

lol damn it, sweep picking with your thumb XD Nice.

The finish came out pretty great! The way you did it gave me an idea to try; see if while burning the wood, hang the pickguard over it facing down to capture/stain the smoke on its surface, then clearcoat it into place.

Great build! Any residual smell from the lighter fluid?

Nate you would have won this competition hands down if you had finished it with a lacquer of BBQ sauce! lol

2:11 You could have died putting the fluid bottle so close to the fire, or just by squirting it directly into the fire! A relative of mine have suffered serious 3rd degree burn... And it was not by burning directly the bottle, but just by allowing the fire to "climb" the jet up to the bottle, and to him... And it was with alcohol, that isn't that inflamable... so, take care, if you really need to do it, it's better to use a cup... but it's not safe anyway

Sometimes the only way to get what you really want is to do it yourself.
