I have a 64-bit PC with 3 GB of DDR3. Sounds good but I honestly don't notice any performance difference from the 32-bit 2 GB of DDR2 I had previously.

Ugh i upgraded a windows xp 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit because my other 64-bit pc broke. is there some windows xp 64-bits? WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO UPGRADE 32-BIT TO 64-BIT IF IT DOES NOT SUPPORT IT?

I've got both types. 32/64...In terms of my own computer usage, there is no major difference. Both of my computers could have been configured for 64 bit operation, but only one of them actually is. If I played video games that use an awful lot of RAM, the I'd guess I'd notice. After all, 32 bit address lines can only address 4gb of Ram.

8 bit can adress up to 256 kbit
16 bit can adress up to 64 MB RAM
32 bit can adress up to 4, 2 GB of RAM
64 bit can adress up to 18446744073 GB of RAM

And yes more ram = more performance, especially on 64-bit systems. That means if you have up to 3 or 4 gigs of RAM on your pc is better to run 32 bit os. If its more, than 64 bit
