As a cancer patient who had had many blood and platelet transfusions, thank you so much for donating.

You inspired me to donate blood! Had my first session earlier this month! Thanks Lisa!

I’ve been anemic enough to require transfusions quite a few times in my life so I really do appreciate that people do this

Thank you for always donating! Blood products but especially platelets are very valuable and in the laboratory where I work at, we're always short on platelet donations, so your donations are very much appreciated!!

I thank everyone who donated. Without you I wouldn’t be here. ❤

I donated blood (from age 16) platelets and plasma (from age 30) and loved doing so. 200 donations later 😊❤ It's a way of helping others without giving money etc but instead giving of myself, literally 😊

I have had two separate hospital stays where I received platelet transfusions; I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura (ITP). Thank you for donating life saving platelets.

Cramming to boost your iron is so relatable 😂

Keeping that level up is HARD as a female. Mine dipped as low as 9 once!!! Thank you for share your meal ideas. I rather eat the iron than take supplements 😊

Thank you for your donation! Plasma donation is also a major need, folks who have immunocompromising conditions really depend on it!

It's so bittersweet for me to see your platelet donation videos 😢 So sweet, but at the same time, I wish I could do the same. I've always wanted to donate, whatever it is, but in my country you need to be over 50kg (around 110lbs), and I'm always a bit below. No matter how hard I try, I can't go past that weight. I also have recurring iron deficiency due to heavy periods and low blood pressure problems, so it's an absolute no for me. But you go girl!

I tried platelet donation once, and it's not personally something I could do again! But I donate blood regularly (every 2 months) and I definitely relate, especially to the hydration 😂

Thank you for this. My son who was 2 at the time, ended up with Kawasaki Disease and he needed blood transfusions. You’re my hero ❤

I used to donate plasma because my plasma is universal. My blood isn’t but my plasma is apparently.

I used to give blood back in the day, this is so relatable! Unfortunately I don’t meet the screening requirements anymore as I have an autoimmune disease now and I’m not within the min weight requirement range. It’s nice to see people doing this service and normalising it ❤

I’m so sad that I’ve never been at a high enough weight for my height to donate blood, but you’ve inspired me to donate platelets! I need to do research on where I can do this! ❤

I love that you’re talking about this! Not enough people are donating and that needs to change. It’s such a small thing for us to do but it literally saves lives.

As someone who needs to get transfusions regularly, I appreciate that you do this and spread awareness
