6 years on this video is still very useful! Guilty of neglecting those front buttons - using one to access auto-ISO settings is a great idea.

This is a really helpful video. I'm shooting a wedding a week today and never messed about with the custom settings on my D610 but now I set some up. Thanks for the video :)

Hi, thank you so much for this! I've been asked to shoot my first wedding in August and I'm pretty nervous about it, but your tutorial has been so helpful!

Great video, very informative. One suggestion would be to have the blinds/curtains drawn behind you. They create a lot of reflection in the camera screen and make it difficult to see in some stages of the video. :)

I didnt realise the settings (at 1.29) didnt affect the raw files. Only had my D610 for 6 years, and didnt kinow that ! You learn some thing new all the time !

*Great video!* To the point, and not 30 minutes of talk, 10 of actual content. That I appreciate ANYTIME! So a big *Thank you.*
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Q: Indoor wedding setup...
What flash do you use? Accessories?
_Preferred_ shutter speed/aperture?
Thanks!

Lots of good information but one thing I noticed pretty quickly was you gave the impression that adjusting the options under "Set Picture Control" just changes the view on the screen and not the actual RAW files but that is not correct. Any changes you make there whether it's from SD "Standard" to NL "Neutral" or fine-tuning any of those specific settings affect the RAW file. While I didn't know you could make adjustments to each individual preset (Thank you for that) I use those settings often when changing from shooting sports in the daytime to maybe a stage performance with low lighting and you can very much see the difference in the RAW not just the onscreen JPG.

thanks for the effort and the sharing. this vid was SO VERY helpful. my question is about U1/U2. you mentioned setting U1 f2.8 iso 1600 shutter 1/160 for when you would do flash. If you are setting off a TTL flash, why would you need such a high ISO as 1600? again, thank you for your many very informative YT vids. BIG thumbs up.

sir good day im just confuse about the view on the screen, which means when a set my pic profile, like example landscape mode it does not affect the raw file right? the picprofile only for jpeg and on the screen for the camera?
