Great review Guido! Always beautiful shots and a very professional review. I guess I fall into the category of reviewers that borrow a car from a dealership and can't drive haha but in the day I spent with the Panamera Turbo, I loved it. Amazing handling (from what I could tell from my lame roads lol) and really exciting acceleration (for the short bursts allowed here in the states). Whoever doesn't like this car is crazy, the looks are controversial but the performance overshadows that in my opinion. Keep up the great work Guido!

Awesome review, Guido! Lot´s of interesting thoughts that put the car in a whole new perspective. You also managed to capture the sound very well, makes me feel like I´m standing on the side of the road listening to this monster flying by at full throttle. Guido, nice review. Many of the comments indicate that viewers don’t understand the Turbo’s sport exhaust. With the “sport” exhaust engaged (by switch, or automatically in Sport and Sport Plus mode), a motor controlled valve opens up at the end of the exhaust system, opening it up to breathe better. What you hear on these passes in the video is in Sport Exhaust mode. In comfort mode, the car is quiet. I have this same car, a 2016 Turbo. I have installed a fabric air filter, 200 cell downpipes, and an FVD tune, and now have over 600 bhp. What was already an impressive car is now a supercar. I love it. It would be fun to have a 911, too, and compare, but there is only so much room in my garage!

Great job as usual. I like the lean style you are taking.
By the way, the interesting fact is that are the very regular Porsche owners that are teasing the Panamera, mostly about her look and design.

To me, it's a great car, not the prettiest but as you said she has an important presence, not only from the outside but from the inside too, very very well made and something exotic in a way that amg, m or rs cannot achieve.

I found this car revolting when it first launched, I know Porsche is not known for their designs, but I could not understand what was going through their heads when they designed this monstrosity.

Later, I had the opportunity to drive this car in the GTS trim and the rest is history, it felt like a bigger 911 that was practical. I never thought I would prefer the Panamera over an M5, but I honestly do after getting to drive it. The looks also grow on you, once you tick the right color and exterior appearance options, especially in the GTS trim.

I´m totally agree about your impressions of the Panamera Turbo Guido! Driving the Panamera GTS and Turbo the first time when the facelift launched over a year ago, I was absolutely blowed away by the driving performance of these car and how much confidence it gives while cornering on very small backroads. You completely forget that there´s a massive car with more than 2 tons around you. In my opinion the Panamera is a class of its own and that´s why I love these car a lot!

Great review, which I have watched a couple of times. I have had the Turbo 2014 for more than 3 years now and you are absolutely right about it being a drivers car and going around corners like a sports-car. For me it is s sportscar that I can drive on a daily basis, I can bring my family and even my dog along for longer rides and that is where it is better than a two seater - you get to enjoy it often and together with others. Thank you for taking the time to do a proper test drive and share it!

I didn't care about the Panamera until I drove one at the Porsche Experience Center. It was "only" the S model but I couldn't believe how composed it was on their tight test track. The looks are subjective (I like hatchbacks so I suppose I'm biased) but there can be no doubt that it performs as a Porsche should, regardless of it's size.
