Why don't they skip ICD10 & go straight to ICD11 instead?
I was born Legally Blind but later on in life in June of 2001 I was in a UTA bus wreck in Ogden Utah. At the time I thought that I was okay and was able to walk away from the wreck. After a few days or so I started having problems with my balance. When I went to the ER they took x-rays, CAT scans, MRIS and other tests. Even though I still experience pain dizziness and other disabling factors and struggled to do the things that I used to do before the bus wreck doctors would say " Everything looks (Normal)". How it was explained to me is that when you go to the doctor and you go to get a diagnosis for a disability imagine any name of any disability and imagine a muffin tin tray. In order to have a certain disability you have to have a certain number and combination of different colored beads in each of the different cups. For example to have EDS you have to have
2 BLUE Beads,
3 RED Beads,
5 YELLOW Beads.
Let's say that you have more or less than the specific combination or any different color beads then a doctor under the government and Under Disability law that the United States has stated you would not be qualified either get,
A- The Diagnosis that they need, or.
B- The Medical Equipment that they need even though it doesn't follow what Medicare and Medicaid would consider paying for. For example let's say you need power footrest but yet because you can move your foot to inches Medicare and Medicaid will say they will not pay for powered footrests for example. there needs to be some major changes in our medical system. we need a medical system that is not for profit but yet there for the people. The problem is the medical system we have it's only there to benefit the people at the top.

This is great news for the USA! So this means that this system will be more efficient, which will lead to cost savings, which will be passsed into the consumer. Right?
