Israel ‘must be stopped’, Palestinian official tells UNSC

The deputy permanent observer of the State of Palestine to the UN, has told the Security Council that “Israel has been the oppressor, tormentor, and murderer of Palestinians for decades, and it is the longstanding destabiliser of our region.” Meanwhile, Amir Saeid Iravani, the Iranian ambassador to the UN has addressed the UN Security Council, says Haniyeh’s assassination is another manifestation of Israel’s decades-long pattern of terrorism and sabotage targeting Palestinians and their supporters. He added that Israel was also pursuing the political goal of disrupting the first day of Iran’s new government.

The main problem is the unconditional unlimited political and military US support of Israel, no matter what this criminal state did, even if it went against all the values the US stands for, the US would still give it its full support.

Considering how much money pours into US politicians campaigns from the Israel Lobby, shouldn't the UN move to exclude the USA from UNGA and UNSC votes, let alone vetoes, when it comes to Israel? Surely it is the USA's action at the UNSC that poses the greatest threat to 'security' in West Asia. If the UN refuses to deal with the USA problem, then the UN too is complicit in Israel's atrocities, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
