thank you for adding the note of having your dog be hungry for training! it’s fairly easy to keep my dog engaged indoors/without distractions, but the second something more interesting is even a possibility - he couldn’t care less about treats… hoping maybe if he’s hungry he might care a little more!

bumped into a woman on a trail i usually take my dog on. she was "walking" a very strong and unhappy dog on a halter. i heard this dog up the trail, barking at other dogs long before i saw her. she was an absolute beauty, but impossible to handle. the shelter worker was just hanging on to her. i can't imaging that anyone would adopt her or if she is adopted that she will not be returned to the shelter immediately. i told the woman to please watch your channel - i then sent the shelter an email with the link to your channel. i truly hope they've watched and learned from your videos. i have such compassion and empathy for the people who love these dogs but don't know what to do with them. i too have one of those dogs who is now completely changed thanks to your videos!

What a great trainer, ability to read a dog, think about the dog’s genetic way of thinking, what part the owner has had in shaping and/or exacerbating the undesirable behavior, finding a reasonable & creative work around to address the behavior that first needs to be understood, not necessarily what it appears to be. Then coming up with an approach with step by step challenges to the dog (and owner) done in a way to succeed. Yes ! Thank you Mr. Davis.
