Pineapple Rag by Scott Joplin is one of my favorite songs, if not my favorite. I played this every day for years but never posted a good recording of it on the channel. As I found this old recorded video, I decided to post it. It has excellent audio. Scott joplin would be proud! . Every now and then some lost videos appear that I forgot to post. And here's one!

I really like that you played the entire piece and not just a 5 second snippet. Well done, sir. Please play more whole songs.

This is one of many Scott Joplin’s pieces that I just can’t get enough of. His ragtime pieces are some of the most cheerful and lighthearted music ever composed. I’m so glad to be living in the same universe where Joplin exists.

My favourite Joplin piece and it’s well played by Lord Vinheteiro

Scott Joplin was musical genius. I'd go into time signatures, tempo changes, and mode deviations, but he always smoothed out the transitions and made it sound good and free flowing. Pineapple Rag is almost like 3 songs in one, but in a short 3.5 minute length radio friendly diddy package. Well played! Nice quality.

Oh, this one took me back. When I took piano lessons as a kid, my teacher loved Scott Joplin. I learned this one and it's so nice to see that I actually was playing this piece at the proper speed back then (perhaps with a few more mistakes than you, lol!). This is seriously giving me the itch to get my instrument tuned up and dig that book out (yes, I still have it, 50 years later!) and give some ragtime a try again! Oh, and I love you have a shot of the pedal work! Gosh, I was doing that well too!

Part of "The Sting"'s soundtrack. Indeed a fantastic rendition of Joplin's masterpiece !!!!

Oh my goodness, this is sublimely played - the right pace, not too rushed, every note equal weight smooth and flowing - really enjoying this, it's one of my top 2 Joplin pieces!!

I love the way his piano sounds. It's so gentle and warm. It feels like the piano is smiling and happy to be played ❤

My grandmother and my great-aunt played ragtime, and I have always loved it. Thank you this beautiful melody.

I used to have a game called Locomotion on my PC and this song played through the 1920s era of the game. First time I've heard it played anywhere else. Amazing work.

I recently heard Scott Joplin about 2-3 months ago and now I’m already in love with his music! It makes me so happy and it gives me a great mood every time I listen to this piece and many other pieces by him. Well done playing this dude 😄👍

Genuinely one of those "feel good" pieces of music 😁 it's one of my favourites, up there with James Scott's Frog Legs Rag - which stuck in my head from a young age because it was the intro music on a VHS, I had, about trains. Mad...

I've loved playing Scott Joplin on the piano since I was a teen. Started out with The Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag (which are still great fun), but my faves today are probably Weeping Willow and Sunflower Slow Rag. I don't know if I've played Pineapple Rag that much, but after hearing your wonderful rendition, I'll have to add it to my repertoire!
