As a former Calvinists I can admit that most of the Calvinists position is very watered down Theology. It walks a very thin line between Fatalism. I know Calvinism isn't Fatalism or Determinism but if you are consistent with that view then eventually you end up with Fatalism 70% of the time. The other 30% leads to Determinism which leads to Nihilism and Materialism. Which then leads to atheism or even general Deism. This is why Calvinists are self destruct if they fully embrace Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura. Why? Easy. If you can lose salvation then that means God pre installed a safety net for you. Meaning you don't need to fully embrace the Five Solas to begin with. So you are saved by pre destination rather than faith. That kills Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura.

Calvinists are just trinitarian Muslims, change my mind.

Was the Apostle Paul's will over-powered by a will greater than his own on the Road to Damascus (his initial salvation experience)? Why or why not?

Thanks

Every Protestant that proclaims that we are justified by Faith Alone should HEAR these FOUR words by James 2:24 RINGING in their EARS:

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

"not by faith alone."

But wouldn't a Calvinist say that Christ assumed pre-fall (adamic) human nature, thereby Christ did assume free-will proper to human nature? Then they'd say that Christ is still the model of the regenerate man (because a regenerate has free-will restored unto him)

Your entire refutation of monergism is based on the philosophy and traditions (read Colossians 2:8) of men and not the Word of God (which you nearly totally ignore), you admit it right near the beginning (2:17) of your diatribe. The beauty of monergism and the doctrines of Grace is that they follow the very Word of God. Men have a creaturely free will which, in an unredeemed state, can only do evil in the sight of God (For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23), no one seeks after God (Rom. 3:11), your works are as filthy rags (Is. 64:6), etc.). Unless the Holy Spirit takes away your heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh, you will die in your sin. It is all of God and NONE of us. God has determined from the beginning of time (which he also created and is not bound by - the alpha and omega) whom he will save and whom he will allow to remain in sin. There is nothing you can do to earn your salvation, it is the free gift of God, lest any boast (Ephesians 2:8-10) the good works come after and are the evidence of your justification, not a requirement until one is redeemed because before that, as already noted, all our "works" are despicable. 1 Timothy 2:4 poses a serious problem to synergism because if you accept that God's will is sovereign (one of the attributes of God) then the lack of God's will being done in the life of every single human means that God is not God (there is your universalism). Only by understanding that God sets forth rules for mankind (the Ten Commandments, for example) that men break more often than not. God commands us to obey, but only empowers those he chooses the actual will to take up our cross and follow him. And there is what some call the two wills of God, that which he decrees will happen and that which He commands in His Word. How would we be guilty of sin unless the Law was give by God (and NO flesh will be justified by the keeping of the Law Gal. 2:16 but by faith alone). The Law can only serve to condemn us and any attempt to achieve righteousness through it condemns us as if we break even one Law, we are guilty of all. It is not actually two wills in the literal sense, it is jus a means to help our puny brains to grasp as best we can the true nature of an infinite being.

Although God's will is ONE, the Bible speaks of God's will in different ways:
1) "God works all things after the counsel of His own will." (Eph 1:11) &
2) "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;" (1 Thessalonians 4:3)

That He saves any of us is by His Grace alone, otherwise we stand condemned.

If anyone other than God has a "free will, " what happens when those two wills contradict? If one will can override the other, then that other will is by no means free, but is instead a slave to the one who can override it. Christ said that He did not come to do his own will, but the will of him who sent him, so we see that even in Christ, his human will is not free.

What he called tritheism sounds more reasonable than saying Christ had two wills (which sounds insane).

Jesus had two natures and wills dingdong, that doesn’t mean every person has two natures. This is your unspoken false premise, the rest of your ridiculous argument vanishes once this is understood. Not only can you not speak properly today you can’t speak properly any day because your theology is wrong. Not only that but Jesus had an unfallen human nature unlike every son of Adam. One must be very careful when comparing Christ’s human nature with Adam’s human nature or human nature post Adam. I know orthodox people deny what is clearly taught in the fifth chapter of the book of Romans by the apostle Paul. Oh well!
