I am sticking with C#. Thank you.
These open community-supported languages/frameworks will come and go (My gut says node is going to be just like another PHP in couple of years) but Microsoft would never let that happen to C#.

In my dream world, All these general-purpose would be consolidated and we would be left out with 3-5 depending on use-cases. Also, the government would be an AI.

It's used on the backend and yet is one of the requirements for frontend jobs. Noticed this while browsing through on LinkedIn. That's not kool..

I tried learning RoR before and while I got pretty far in a tutorial, trying to learn how MVC works while working with Ruby and JS at the same time was too much.

I'm just interested in quick iteration of ideas that I have as a beginner and mern fits the bill. Then I'll probably use flask as a backend, then try the same thing in Django.

But first, JavaScript. If it's so damned painful then I had better spend a lot of time with it and smile with relief when I deal with Python.
