For beginners, or anyone who is confused as to what backend technology to learn. Don't waste a second more, just learn node.
Even if you don't end up liking it, trust me in a week or two you will be able to perform all CRUD functionalities with DBs even.
- Node is so easy to learn & code with, trust me speed is everything when coding.

I switched from Java to Node few years back. I still do Java/Python and C, but NodeJS has special place. I have build highly scalable APIs using Node and I'm happy Node community is still thriving.

Great video, on point. I just love NodeJS. I have been developing web applications since 2018, however I started learning programing languages back in 2016. So I far I tried .NET, PHP and NodeJS. I found NodeJS developer friendly and it also serves my purpose, so I kept using NodeJS. My preferred tech-stack is NodeJS, ExpressJS, Handlebars and MongoDB.

If anyone interested to know what type of applications can be built using the above tech-stack, then I would say I have developed the following web apps using NodeJS:
1. Inventory management system
2. Courier management system
3. Warehouse management system
4. Ecommerce management system
5. Accounting System
and so on.

I've really been trying to decide between node and golang. Since I already work with js everyday I was leaning towards node. This video helped make my choice very clear. Time to commit to learning node.

spent many years with the Java language. Recently shifted to Node due to a new project on AWS at the workplace. I do not regret learning NodeJs; polyglot is a good skill. But I want to go back to Java/Jee; It is still my number one choice to build enterprise applications.

PHP is easy to learn and extremely versatile too - I think you can learn whatever at this point, there is just so much and it's good for business, you can pick literally any language and make a great living out of it.

Heyy Utsav...you are doing very great great job... You channel was recommended by one of our tutor named Ayush subedi, that time I only subscribed as per his suggestion, now seeing your content it's worth subscribing, I am also a JavaScript developer by a professional but never go in depth that you had explained in video. Keep sharing your knowledge... Best wishes ❤️

It's great to see you. Thank you so much for this amazing information.
I am new to software development and am currently learning NodeJS, and I love it. I just have one question, please.
I know I must learn MongoDB with Node, which is OK, but do I need to learn SQL and master it as someone who is still learning and will try to get a job as a junior?
Or just knowing the fundamentals of SQL is OK, like creating tables, crud operations, and making simple queries.

Is this going to be a good starting point? And in the job  I can learn the more complex things like indexes and subqueries, etc. ?

What about security aspects in the back end?
Can nodeJs give tough competition to widely used dominant languages like Java, Dot Net? Is it widely adopted in the US market?

Don't forget to use typescript with node and not javascript.

I am an angular developer, and i want to go for fullstack. I am confused to learn node/java. I see in india specially java+angular (considering angular since its my main skill) is lot popular, in all the big product based companies i have seen its always java+angular.
