Lough Gur and Cnoc Aíne and that whole area is my favourite place in the World.
Laughed at the bit where you mentioned the warning about sleeping on the shores of the lake as I once did and it was during the full moon!!! was I enchanted??? Possibly.... I have been back many times and feel a deep pull to the area. The lack of tourists is refreshing and there is so much to see in the area.

I played drums for 30+year's both on stage and off back in my hey- day's the 80s.+90s They didn't push the ear plugs as they do now in the modern day especially for live performances and now at the age of 55yrs I wish I would've taken better care of the ears! So please do encourage ear protection💚🎧🎧🎧
