South Africa is facing one of the worst droughts to hit the region in 30 years. Many small farmers are expected to go out of business as food production and prices increase, especially in the Free State province.

5 ways to conserve water:
1. Check for water leaks regularly and fix any that there are
2. Use a watering can instead of a hose or sprinkler
3. Don't let the tap run while brushing your teeth or hand washing dishes
4. Take a quick shower instead of a bath or long shower
5. Instead of using water to thaw meat thaw it in the refrigerator

If you have a big farm land . Take a small portion of that giant land and turn into the pond to catch the rain waters.
