Today’s panel will showcase different application examples of systems innovation by diverse organizations in Berlin. Complex dynamics characterize most of the systems we encounter in our everyday lives, at work and in societies at large.

To boot, the world that we live in is ever increasing in complexity which poses peculiar challenges when we seek to intervene in these systems. From climate change to development aid, poverty and the current global pandemic - these so-called ‘wicked problems’ cannot simply be solved with linear problem-solving tools but require complex intervention. Systems Innovation is bridging this gap by providing practical approaches to such complex interventions that can create transformative change of the system’s underlying structure instead of merely mitigating unwanted systemic outcomes in the short-term.

This Webinar is organized by the Systems Innovation Hub Berlin a newly founded space for people who want to learn more about complex systems thinking; are interested in being part of an ecosystem of systems innovators; and are keen on collaborating on projects on the many local complex challenges in Berlin.
