AI Learns To Survive

Привет! I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I was quite busy with university stuff. Also this project took a lot of time an effort.
Today I am going to show you the progress I’ve made and share what I’ve learned making my first Machine Learning project in Unity.
Chiklz, our laboratory rat, was trained for 50 HOURS or about 100.000 ITERATIONS, so let’s see what our little friend managed grasp. There were many difficulties on the way, but I did learn a lot, so the next project will be more ambitious.

I am a computer science student from Moldova. I love Machine Learning and Game Development. I have released 2 mobile games on Google Play : “Cut: Funny Woodcutting Adventure” and “Bee a Miner: Sweet Adventures”. All the games were developed using Unity. The current Penguin Game is also developed in Unity.

I think the biggest issue here was a lack of feedback.

One method that might be helpful is to put yourself in the role of the AI here: It doesn't have access to all the visuals, or your vast store of knowledge gained over your life, or even really intelligible labels. All it has are a set of numbers with unique but otherwise meaningless labels, and death.

I cant keep from thinking that there was something missing in this that makes the ai to not work properly. It was just allocating the minimum ammount of time for each thing before is started to almost deplete the bar.

So there should be a 4 stat the "stress" level where if anything goes too low it makes the bar goes up with should slow the speed of mooviment at low levels and at higher levels should make it start losing health. It should also go up if the AI repeat the same set of actions too many times, forcing it to adapt and explore.

Making the AI try to keep the stress level at acceptable levels could make you have the option to create a 5 stat or option for the AI to rest and do nothing other then wait for the stresss to go down, but if any of the other things goes down too the stress goes upso the ai should only be able to rest if if everything is fine.

Consider paying attention to the volume of each cut/scene of the video. I am using headphones and the volume drastically changes all along the video. For example the volumes at 4:17 and 4:19 are totally different. Also your voice was at a lower volume than the sound effects.
This stuff happens to anyone, I just thought I would share my headphone experience :)
