The rule of only having unmarried men as priests in the Latin rite of the Catholic Church, is controlled by the entry criteria to the seminary and usually it is only graduates of seminaries are ordained Latin Rite Priests.

Thus when married priests from the Anglican communion become Catholic and Confirmed, they can be ordained Latin rite priests while married.
