I just did a defoliation of a white widow. This was two weeks ago.
I put the cuts right into water then did an angled cut below a node.
The cuttings were dipped in a mix of aloe and honey them right onto a quart pot with soiless medium.( my 10 year recipe diluted with 40 % perlite added. ) I ph my RO water to 5.5 and thoroughly wet the medium.
After a dip in the honey aloe I coat the cut with great white.
Place the clones in the medium, clip the leaves, add a tall humidity dome and a heat mat and wait two weeks.
I did 24 cuts and all are thriving in the grow medium.
I did all my tomatoes like this last year. 4 mothers gave me 24 plants .
Yummy yummy.

Cloner Gel in a squeeze bottle is absolute genius. Paul deserves an award for that trick.

I have used aloe-vera and honey as rooting gel and both worked VERY WELL.

That ketchup gel hack is truly brilliant.

I've noticed when my veg room hits about 80 to 85 degrees, my clones will root In a few days instead of a week.

I feel comfortable in certain stages of growing.... then I watch your videos and realize that I have either been lucky...or I could have been better than what I thought. Thank you again for another great interview.

I took a clone from the bottom of the mother plant (about 3 1/2 inches), shaved the bottom and didn't use any rooting mixture...planted it directly into the medium under a clear plastic cup and now it's nearly taller than the mother plant. Crazy how little you can get exactly right and still have a healthy clone.

Aeroponic cloning is the best 💯 % success rate, can't beat it, set it and forget it cloning

Watched several cloning videos and this one was certainly the best for me.
Clipped 4 after studying this video and got 4 out of 4 rooted and growing, took about 15 days to see new foliage growth.

Scrogging them currently, 54 days in and doing really good.

Indoor environment
80F and about 50 to 60%h, organic grow with 2000w equivalent KindLed.
Scrog is 5x5 set at 6 inches from top of 7gal fab pots. As per advice from Northern Scrogger on YT.
This is working well also and easy to LST with the low screen.

Great idea at the end. That's one thing I will use

Great Video! I use an EZ CLone 128 Aeroponic System for Cloning. As you said there could be potential issues, but the Rooting is much faster and robust! Also, stop dipping Cuts into the Rooting Gel. Just add it to the Water and mix it a bit. Trust me and save a bunch of time and your results will be even better than dipping.

Good show! I have tomato cuttings in my kitchen window rooting in plain filtered tap water right now. That works for lots of plants and trees and would probably work for cannabis too. It will root in soil without hormones too. Trimming half of the length of each leaf on a cutting helps because leaves need water and it's difficult to get enough water without roots. I learned that trick from bonsai and it works for lots of plants. Big leaves can be cut off too. The idea is to have a little green on the clones.

I got lucky with making a few clones I grew them outside and landed up getting a massive tree with buds the size of my entire arm

In other words pay attention to your plant and revert back to the basics of growing.
Thanks 😊👍.
I love using a 60/40 of Perlite and worm casting with a touch of honey and root jell.
Been doing that for 20 years. Thank you both great information
