Singed does these things in lore to find a way to live forever in the begining he used animals but then he moved to zaun and started using the people he dose this because his daughter died and his wife he has nothing so he tries to find imortality

In regards to the weapons, most importantly he creates a chemical bomb that is used in Ionia. This is directly responsible for Yasuo, Riven, Yi, Yone, and Wukong’s story as well as major part in plenty of others.

Also adding to the point, where he stiches leople together... he is the father of Warwick, who has been his loyal soldier of some sort in the lore. At the end of the show, there where he looks at his daughters locket, he looked up and you can see he is working on Warwick. So we might expect to see Warwick in S2

Pretty sure that in the lore Singed is looking for some for of eternal life, even if it is fucked up, like transplanting his mind into a strong but demented body.

As vile as Signed is I can't help but feel some empathy as he understands fatherly love for a daughter and all his work is to try and bring her back.

I thought that he was portrayed as trying to find a way to extend his own life span? From grafting bodies together, trying ways to transfer consciousness, to transmuting a creatures physical form. There was also something about him believing in the extreme version of Darwinism: the strongest or the most clever survive; he is trying to put his clever mind into a physically gifted body.

Singed is like some real life scientists interested only in the challenge, they don't care about how this will be used after and how much this can be costly today.

To them, how to use it is a mankind responsibility, not their. And they actually can be right, but this can lead to a very evil path.

He remember me the real life german Nazi doctor Menguelle, a guy that did terrible experiments with defenseless human beings.

Singed isn't evil because he want something in particular (unlike Viktor), but because he cares about nothing.
