Yes, you can send secure email messages from Google Workspace or Gmail accounts.

UPDATE 07/14/24 - Additionally, Google encrypts all data sent between its servers and stored in its systems. Also, Google uses TLS To encrypt the data sent to 3rd party email servers that also use TLS.

You can send a Confidential email with our without Encryption (SMS Code required to open).

Setting an expiration date and passcode impacts both the message text and any attachments.
If you choose "No SMS passcode," recipients using the Gmail app will be able to open it directly. Recipients who don't use Gmail will get emailed a passcode.
If you choose "SMS passcode,"** **recipients will get a passcode by text message. Make sure you enter the recipient's phone number, not your own.
