Strategies for Navigating the Political Landscape: The Complex Role of the Catholic School Leader

Drawing from recent findings on a statewide research project of Catholic schools in Ohio, this session examines the increasingly complex role of the Catholic school leader navigating the politics of education. Utilizing Bolman/Deal's Four-Frame Model of organizational effectiveness, particularly the political frame, this session will examine how the current environment has pushed Catholic school leaders into often unfamiliar political territory and provide strategies for effective navigation.
