How to create your first animation in Autodesk Maya ?
Well, if you are a first time animator or completely new to Maya it can be a bit scary to get through the User Interface and start to understand how to get the ball rolling so to speak.

So in this beginners video I will show you a simple way to get started with your animation . Keep in mind that this is technically a simulation but hey, it's fun

This is amazing! I am a complete beginner and I thought you have to "draw" the whole thing yourself. As the video was nearing the end I was thinking "Hmmm, how will he do the whole animation in one minute?". Turns out, this software's really smart.

If you are stuck trying to find the Create Active Rejet Body and Create Passive Rejet Body also Gravity commands follow these instructions. click the drop-down menu that says modeling and go to customize then go to FX after that find Fields/Solvers and then add Fields/Solvers to FX then go to Fields/Solvers at the top of the default screen layout and then you should find Create Active Rejet Body and Gravity. I hope this helped.

I just started using Maya tonight and this tutorial was my first to try and i can't believe i completed it.
For a minute there I was going to tell you my bricks fall through the floor when i start my animation but then i realised i might need to raise them and it worked!

whats the minimum requirements to run this program, i have a 2014 MacBook pro, would i have to get a desktop and if so what would be the minimum requirements to be able to run this smoothly, thanks in advance.

Hey Mike, Great Video !
Can you help me how to export this animation as FBX_COLLADA(.DAE) format. I have tick marked the load and autoload checkboxes of fbxmaya.mll in plugin manager but still its not working.
