Windows Forms Not Showing in VS C# | Multiple Forms | Fixed

Windows Forms application option seems to be missing? Issue Fixed and explained.

You can fix Windows Forms issues by installing the .NET Desktop Development Module in Visual Studio Installer Window.

❓ Problem Statment:
I've already opened the Windows Form application but
if I needed another form in the application, it would not allow me to add the form. In fact, there is no windows form in the "Add New Item" window.
You can search for Windows form in the Search box and it will display the form option only if you've installed the .net desktop development framework.

Solution:
To fix the issue, we need to install the .net desktop development framework.

That worked fine, thank you ! It's weird that VS lets you create the main Windows form out the box, then if you want to create a second form it's just not possible until you google around and discover you need to install addition stuff. Gah.…

Hi, I have a project with two forms, form1 anf form2. For one reason that I don't know forms2 disappeared from the Solutione Explorer list so in the Header Files I did Add-->Existing Item and I selected form2.h. Now form1.h anf form2.h have two different icons. If I select form2.h View Designer is not available. Is there a solution? Thanks.

Hi, I have problem with a project. there was a power outage while on the project and when power was restored, I put on the project.
