Meet the man who refuses to die: James Golding. Follow the unbelievable story of 2 times cancer survivor as he overcomes extreme challenges to break the seven day cycling world record in an attempt to qualify for Race Across America.

“People say I’m unlucky because I’ve had cancer twice and I’ve been hit by a truck. But strangely if it hadn’t come along when it did it would have been a very different story”

From Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland, James Golding hopes the same intense drive and ambition to overcome cancer twice and an extreme road accident will see him through 3000 miles of sleep deprivation and high temperatures in one of the hardest cycling races in the world.

My father did race across america and never really talked about it. This video has certainly given me a whole new respect for him!

You're absolutely right. Your adversity has been your salvation. Glad you got past the situational depression. It can be the real killer. What makes you the most fortunate in my opinion is that you've learned the positive lessons. And you're a fighter. Carry on.

it's not supposed to say that because we must be positive and everything but life and people sucks sometimes, I feel like I have no place I can feel free and appeased

Cycling deserves more credit than what it's worth. Underpaid athletes who train like crazy and can lose everything in a single crash.
