As most know, turning the Mac on and off versus putting it to sleep causes the device to age faster! Always put your device to sleep or if necessary a re-start only❤

Thank you reviewer for putting in the title the actual product being reviewed which is the PRO model stacked with massive Ram and SSD upgrade by Apple and not cheating for views like other top reviewers with 'Mac Mini M4' in the title only omitting the 'Pro' in the title.

It's just so slimy for Apple to send every reviewer the Pro model to review first. Apple probably loaded it with 48GB+ Ram and 1TB of the faster SSD to get even more gushing reviews. Especially when we all want to see the base M4 model reviews first. Pretty much dilutes the early review opinions to get as much praise as they can get to start the pre orders rolling but people are rushing to buy the base model but with skewed expectations going by M4 Pro review models with massive Ram upgrades and SSD speed / size upgrades.

People will look at these reviews and go, wow the Mac Mini is great and buy the base version that performs significantly worse than the review Pro unit. God, does Apple think we don't see these tricks? Man, obvious slimy marketing trick they can get away with. Even early reviewers know this but to get massive view counts they do not put 'Mac Mini PRO' in the title because they know they will get less views because everyone is after the base Mac Mini M4 reviews. Apple have lubed up these reviewers well.

There's actually zero issues with the base models SSD transfer rate as previous models as the latest strip down tests have discovered here...The other thing we’ve learned is that the base Mac Mini’s module has two 128GB NAND chips instead of a single 256GB one, which means we don’t expect to see a performance bottleneck compared to the previously released base model M-Series Macs. Apple returned to two 128GB chips on the M3 MacBook Air released last April.

I must have missed you specifying which M4 Max chip you are representing in your benchmark test results. There’s the 14C/32C version and the 16C/40C version.
