Do you have an application that requires positioning to many different absolute locations? Watch this video to learn more about ClearPath, the all-in-one brushless servo system used in "Move to Absolute Position - 16 Position".

This operational mode is similar to ClearPath's "Move to Absolute Position - 2 position" and "Move to Absolute Position - 4 Position", but allows for up to 16 absolute positions.

Move to Absolute Position - 16 Position is a good mode to use when you have a finite number of pre-set positions. This mode allows the user to pre-program up to 16 absolute positions defined from a home "zero" location. There are no sensors required.

Use ClearPath's MSP (Motor Setup Program) to define motion parameters such as velocity, acceleration, and RAS- along with the sixteen absolute positions. ClearPath will move to the location determined by the number of pulses sent to input B. Use Input A to trigger the move.

Thank you for these well explained and edited videos. The home precision feature applies to all the ClearPath servos?

How does this work when power is disconnected from the drive and the home reference is changed at the same time? Does the advanced homing routine use non-volatile memory?

Is their an example where you enter 6in via keypad and it moves 6 in. Simple application of a mitre saw stop.
