What Is The Correct Idle Speed In A Car-Easy Explanation

In this video, I talk about the correct idle speed in a car. With that being said, I tell you why car engines idle at that speed, and why they idle a bit higher whenever you star the engine on a cold day or whenever you haven't started the engine for a long while.

Hey great videos, I just had my alternator changed and now my car went from idling at around 750 to 650. When my AC compressor comes on, I can feel the car bug down for a split second but the RPMs pick back up quickly. Is this normal after an alternator swap?
